Indoor drone show on music video set

DRONICO staged an indoor drone show on a music video set. An indoor show changes the very principle behind how a music video is filmed: the space itself becomes part of the choreography, and the light and movement of the drones become part of the visual language.

For one music duo we built an indoor show where every drone works not just as a point of light but as a living piece of stage design. The flight paths were built around the camera, the music and the artists’ movement, so that the drones and the performers move together as one, right in frame.

The result is visual material that is hard to achieve with traditional lighting: layered, dynamic and immersive. Light, movement and choreography come together into a single visual story that carries the music forward and brings it to life through space. We build these shows specifically for filming, bringing technology, stage design and direction together in a single shot.
