Indoor drone show in Riyadh: the opening of CONEXÃO, a Saudi–Brazilian cultural event
An indoor drone show by DRONICO opened CONEXÃO in Riyadh, an event dedicated to cultural exchange between Saudi Arabia and Brazil. The drones lit up the stage, and light formations representing Saudi Arabia and Brazil merged in the air above it, underlining the idea of the event: unity of cultures, innovation and dialogue.
A drone show is more than decoration for an event: it amplifies the message and stays with the guests long after the evening. Our thanks to the organisers, Events by Safarly and ADD Enterprise, for the opportunity to create it together.

The event
CONEXÃO, the Confluence of Saudi–Brazilian Culture, ran from 30 January to 1 February 2025 at the King Fahad Cultural Center under the theme “Eltiqa: The Saudi–Brazilian Traditional Arts”. The programme brought together five traditional Saudi and five Brazilian performances, closing with a dance that blended the artistic traditions of both countries, and more than 15 workshops and sessions on performing and visual arts.
