Indoor drone show at a show jumping tournament, Abu Dhabi

80 DRONICO drones flew indoors at a show jumping tournament at the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, on the opening day of the competition in January 2025.

A riding arena is far from the most obvious venue for a light show. Limited space, the close proximity of people and horses, and the fast pace of the event all make it a demanding setting.

The arena was turned into a stage for the show, and the drone programme was designed as an organic part of the ceremony rather than a separate act. A drone show in an unexpected location works on the surprise factor and creates unforgettable moments.

  • Format: indoor drone show, 80 drones
  • Where: Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, Abu Dhabi, UAE
