Outdoor drone show in Khorog, 2026
DRONICO flew an outdoor drone show over Khorog, Tajikistan, in the Pamir mountains. The show took its imagery from the landscapes around the city.
The show was built from scratch in 36 hours, with 1,200 drones ready to fly at the end of it. Our artists designed and animated six new shapes. The field team spent 12 hours on a mountain road to reach the site, and magnetic interference was detected once they arrived, so we set up four launch zones instead of one and tested the communications, the backup channels and each drone.
A tight deadline does not mean skipping the preparation or the technical checks.
